The Shepherds Hut and EELS
In Long Sutton the role in organising local entertainments has been taken up by a number of community groups including EELS (Events and Entertainments in Long Sutton). It was Jack Tyrrell and Barry Meade who came up with the idea of a mobile facility for use at events such as the annual summertime Music in the Park event and Christmas Grotto. The concept of a traditional style Shepherds Hut is designed to provide refreshments at the organised events. The hut will also be available for hire to other local organisations.
