Shed Meeting
There was a general meeting for all members on Sunday 13th January.
A full set of the minutes are available from Ray or Barry
For a couple of hours on Sunday morning we met at the Shed to discuss our plans (and solve some of the world’s biggest problems). A complete set of notes will be made available to all members, but here is an outline of the topics that came up.
A somewhat favourable bank balance may allow us to buy a few pieces of equipment, if we can get them at a reasonable value.
The current training procedure is to be monitored with a new “sign off” procedure for all bench mounted rotary tools. Everyone should check they are OK to use any of the machines – see Ray, Barry or Pete.
One or two faulty pieces of equipment have been reported and the necessary repairs will be done. However, everybody is reminded they have a duty of care to themselves AND TO OTHERS. So, if you notice a problem with any equipment or tool make it public. Take the plug out, put up a notice and let someone know.
There is to be a trial period of all-day opening on Tuesdays. No fixed timing has been decided, we’ll give it a go and see what comes out.
